Step by step to decorate a room without windows

Decorate room without windows

Find a dark room, without natural light and the only light that enters, is through a small window that overlooks a portal.

We will begin the transformation by reusing an old chair. We will remove the upholstery you have, leaving the skeleton, and sand it with the sander. This way, we will remove the varnish you have.

Once sanded, we will remove the dust you have with a cloth dipped in alcohol and paint it with a raw-colored enamel.

Next, we will paint an old lamp. In this case, we will do it with a gun. We will stand 20 centimeters away from the lamp and move from top to bottom.

The next step will be to reuse an old closet to which we will remove the damaged mirror, and we will replace it with a chicken net that we will fix it with the stapler.

We are also going to dress the inside of the closet. Going to place a light tone wallpaper. Also, we will give light with some LED lights. For this, we will use double-sided tape that we will place in the closet and on this the wallpaper. In this way, we set the paper in a simple and fast way.

Then we will continue with the transformation of the chair. To do this, we will use a DM board which, with cardboard, we will give the shape of the base of the chair, a new countertop.

When we have the shape transported to the board, we will cut it with the jigsaw. Then we will send it so that all the corners are smooth.

To finish, we will paint it and fix it to the chair. In this way, we have managed to convert an old chair into a new original and decorative bedside table.

We will reuse the back of the closet (the wood that protected the mirror) and create a practical hanger. We will put several hooks and fabrics in the middle areas so that it has the same style as the room.

To decorate the walls, we will place masking tape to guide, and we will write several verses on the wall.

We have transformed a dark and windowless room into a pleasant and comfortable room. Thanks to the reuse of several furniture, we managed to give it an updated and rustic vintage touch.

We have started from a dark room without natural light, to decorate a room without windows: with much more clarity, luminosity, and above all a more personal style.
